Why may I ask, do you agree? I’m not saying your wrong or that your opinion isn’t valid, I’m just curious about your reasonings behind this.

To elaborate this further, as I said it feels forced. The Doctor knows that in the future River and himself are together, and then he learns they are married, so there’s the possibility of him going along with her only because it happened/ will happen. Plus, when they do get married, it feels like he’s doing it only so he can save the world.
However, I’m not saying that he couldn’t develop feelings for her; he kissed her multiple times and called her his wife. So yeah, that’s when you, shippers, enter ahah.
But it just doesn’t feel like the kind of relationship the Doctor needs. I don’t know.

From the gifsets I saw on tumblr, I’d say… One and Donna (oh my god) or Three or Six, Rose with Four or Eight, Martha with Five or Two.. I’m not sure for the others. What would your choices be? c:

I think I’ll be able to put more thought into this once I’ve seen all the Classic Who. This is a really interesting question though.

Just curious (as a fan of River/Doctor shipping) why do so many people dislike her? Is it because they're all stuck on Doctor/Rose, or is it some feeling that the Doctor should never love someone like that/get married? I don't mind if people feel that way, even if I don't agree lol, I just never understood why.

Well, I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m okay with River really. I don’t have any particular feelings for her though, she’s just here. As for the ship, honestly it felt forced. Basically River arrived and said “We’re married period.” and I didn’t like that. (Even though the marriage happened in a time line that was erased.)

But you know, you don’t choose the ship, the ship chooses you ahah. No but really, when I ship something it’s because it hits me, and I didn’t have that thing with the Doctor/River, that’s all.
And maybe because I was still deep in the Doctor/Rose ship when we were introduced to her, I suppose there’s that too.

Also I hope that answers your question, insomnias-words.
